What can eat a diet low in carbohydrates?

Meat, fish and dairy products like cheese and milk is encouraged. Fruits and vegetables are limited depending on the plan you follow.

Typical Menu
In general, diets low in carbohydrates focus on meat, poultry, fish, dairy products, eggs and some vegetables without starch. Some plans allow low carb fruits and vegetables whole grains.

  • Pancakes powder whey protein can be cooked up to make pancakes.
  • Potatoes a great substitute mashed potatoes to be done by steaming or boiling cabbage and cauliflower puree in a food processor, then add a little cream or half and half, butter or salt.
  • Rolls If you can eat gluten, you can make delicious cakes that are very similar to muffins. Be sure to freeze in a plastic bag.
  • Here a list of some vegetables in a very healthy vegetable, low-carb, you should eat as much as possible. Romaine lettuce, Boston lettuce, red lettuce, mesclun mix of pumpkin, green beans, artichokes, avocado, asparagus, broccoli, cauliflower, cucumbers, eggplant, olives, spaghetti squash, acorn or hickory (small quantities) zucchini.
  • Instead of pasta dough with 50 g of tiny 2 oz serve, put the sauce over the strips of zucchini lightly Steaming can be done with a vegetable peeler.
  • Substitute sugar When cooking, instead of using powdered Splenda contains maltodextrin, a sugar in the kitchen can be significant amounts, use DaVinci sugar free syrup can be bought Marshall or TJ Maxx in the specialty food section. I cook with the Caramel or Vanilla and white chocolate that is used for things like cocoa. Make it not for the recipes that rely sugar to keep everything together.
  • Cookies You can make delicious macaroni very low carbohydrate
  • Sunflower seeds Snack food in the shell make a good finger food snack that is low carb and take the place of the chips, while watching the game, etc.
  • Low Carb Cream Cheese Fudge Candy makes a sweet chocolate treat Nice
  • Pizza When it's time for pizza, have a beef / combo only eat vegetables and ingredients.
  • Chinese In Chinese restaurants, hot soup and works Sour. The same goes for the grilled ribs and teriyaki strips, although they have a little sugar. Some places are crispy duck that works. There are some carbohydrates in all these, so do not eat all day!
  • Other restaurants Besides the obvious meat "or piece entries of the" test steak bistro salad or Caesar salad with chicken or shrimp (no chips!). Stick with blue cheese, Parmesan pepper, or classic Italian dressing. Many Steak House chains sprinkle MSG on their flesh which can improve taste, but leaves you hungry an hour later. Avoid the restaurants if you try to lose weight!
  • Almonds, walnuts, pecans and carbohydrates are low enough and full of very healthy cholesterol oils.
  • Sinful desserts Try a luxury dessert for a cheesecake low carb. Instead of cookies, use a crust from crushed nuts, chopped walnuts or almonds and press into the pan.
  • A lot of good recipes here Google Advanced Groups Search for "CCC" alt.support.diet.low carbohydrate. If you are looking for something specific, search the newsgroup for "REC" and the name of the food.
  • BREAKFAST The most "low carb" cereals are full of soy may not be good for thyroid. Instead of using milk, which is full of fast carbs, try using half and half or some other noise in some plain yogurt. Use the lowest of Vita carbohydrates Dark Rye Rye Rye crackers with sesame seeds or toasted bread instead.
  • Avoid products labeled "LOW CARB!" Most of them are not. Using a variety of tricks food manufacturers sell a lot of bad products, such as Atkins Advantage bars are packed with sugar alchohols that increase blood glucose. The only sugar alcohol that is dependable low-carb is erythritol. Unfortunately, the sweet rather than used to be available with erythritol have disappeared.
  • AVOID ALL "sugar" or "diabetes" ALIMENTOS. Again, that sucrose may be free but are full of sugar alcohols, which increases blood glucose and many are filled with flour turns to sugar once you reach your gut.
